Soham Yerandkar, CEO & Director

Soham  brings diverse experience to the company, having previously worked as a Rocket design engineer .  His passion for Electrical machines over the last four years led to the inception of Inertia Labs, where he now drives the development of innovative motor technologies.

Yash Pawar, CTO & Co-founder

Yash  brings a passion for manufacturing and simulations of electrical machines, with hands-on experience as an Application Design Engineer. He manages the motor technology team. His leadership experience has been instrumental in driving the company’s mission to advance high-performance motor technologies.

Soham Yerandkar CEO & Director (B.E. Mechanical Engineering)

Soham Yerandkar is the Co-founder and Chief Engineer of Inertia Labs. He brings diverse experience to the company, having previously worked as a rocket design engineer at Manastu Space, where he developed a novel thrust measurement system for monopropellant engines. Soham has also worked on the design of HEPA filters and electrostatic precipitators. He has extensive experience in team leadership and project management, serving as a manager and captain of various engineering teams. His passion for electrical machines over the last four years led to the inception of Inertia Labs, where he now drives the development of innovative motor technologies.

Yash Pawar CTO & Co-founder (B.E. Mechanical Engineering)

Yash Pawar is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Inertia Labs. He brings a passion for manufacturing and simulations of electrical machines, with hands-on experience as an Application Design Engineer at Tritorc Equipments, where he specialized in hydraulic and pneumatic tool designs. Yash manages the motor technology team at Inertia Labs and leads development efforts with a focus on innovation. His leadership experience, both as a student and professionally at Inertia Labs, has been instrumental in driving the company’s mission to advance high-performance motor technologies.

Prof. Parag Bhargava, Chief Technology Advisor (Materials Engineering, IIT Bombay)

Professor Parag Bhargava is the Chief Technology Advisor at Inertia Labs.  His research focuses on ceramics, powder metallurgy, solar PV devices, and dental materials. He is also an entrepreneur, having co-founded ANTS Ceramics, Metwiz Materials, and Digident LLP. He has received several accolades, including the “Young Engineer of the Year” award from INAE and multiple “Excellence in Teaching” awards at IIT Bombay.

Dr. Antti Lehikoinen, Chief Technology Advisor (D.Sc. Electrical Engineering, Aalto University)

Dr. Antti Lehikoinen serves as the Chief Simulation and Design Advisor at Inertia Labs. With a doctorate from Aalto University, Antti is an expert in the finite element analysis (FEA) of electrical machines, particularly specializing in high-frequency AC loss analysis. He is the author of the open-source SMEKlib library, which is used for designing and analyzing rotating machines and magnetic components. Antti is also the founder of Smeklab Ltd, where he helps small and medium businesses solve R&D challenges related to motor design and simulation.

Prof. Parag Bhargava Chief Technology Advisor (Materials Engineering, IIT Bombay)

Professor Parag Bhargava is the Chief Technology Advisor at Inertia Labs. He is a Chair Professor in Technology and Sustainable Development and a Professor of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science at IIT Bombay. With over 25 years of academic experience, Professor Bhargava has guided 27 Ph.D. scholars and over 100 Master’s theses.
